Live Paintings by Clay Walker

Clay is available to do live painting at events in Kamloops. Live painting is a form of visual performance art in which artists complete a visual art piece in a public performance, often at a bar, music concert, wedding reception, or public event, accompanied by a DJ or live music.

In 2025, he painted a large canvas at the inaugural Kamloops Tattoo Show.

He was a regular participant in Art Battles at CJ’s Nightclub in Kamloops — Art Battle is 3-round live competitive painting spectacle held in many worldwide. The medium is acrylic paint and the tools allowed are brushes, palette knives or any non-mechanical implements. Artists have only 20 minutes to transform a blank canvas into a masterpiece. As they work, the crowd moves around the easels and cheers for the competitors. At the end of each round, the audience votes for their favourite painting and bids in a silent auction to take the paintings home.
